If you are running a version of the management console prior to CSP9: 1) Unzip this dnsdhcp3.zip file to a directory that you choose. 2) Reinstall the management console by running the setup.exe found in the directory that you just unziped the DNSDHCP3.EXE file to. 3) If it finds a previous install and asks if you want to replace it. Answer yes. If you don't know simply reinstall: 1) Unzip this dnsdhcp3.zip file to a directory that you choose. 2) Reinstall the management console by running the setup.exe found in the directory that you just unziped the DNSDHCP3.EXE file to. 3) If it finds a previous install and asks if you want to replace it. Answer yes. ISSUE: Fixed - The DNS/DHCP Management Console would not run after applying the either the Novell Client v4.9 Beta or the Novell Client v3.3 Beta. It would display the following error message "LA002: Fail to create NDS context". When you click on OK button to clear the error dialog box, the tree selection dialog is displayed without any trees listed in it. Since there are no trees to select you cannot launch the console. Previous Fixes included in this patch - The export of a zone would not export all IP addresses properly if the 3rd octet of an IP address was the only difference from the previous IP address in the same zone. Example: If you have a zone with the IP address 10.11.0.1 followed by 10.11.1.1, and do an export of that zone, the second address 10.11.1.1 does not get exported properly. What you will see in the export file is the 4th octet is not exported so there is an invalid 3 octet IP address. - If you define a manually assigned IP address that falls between two ranges it will disappear from the Java management console. It is still there and can be seen in an export of the subnet or in ConsoleOne. It simply is not displayed anymore in the Java management console.
