To use EAP security In the Atheros Client Utility, access the Security tab in the Profile Management window.
Enabling EAP-FAST security:
To use EAP-FAST security, the machine must already support EAP-FAST. Check with the IT manager.
Use Temporary User Name and Password | Use a temporary user name and password as the EAP user name. | |
Automatically Prompt for User Name and Password | Have the system automatically prompt for the EAP user name and password at logon. | |
Manually Prompt for User Name and Password | Have a manual login prompt for the EAP user name and password. | |
Use Saved User Name and Password | Enter a EAP user name password
and for the system to use at login to start the EAP authentication
process. |
- Check the Include Windows Logon Domain with User Name setting to pass the Windows login domain and user name to the RADIUS server. (default)
- OR: Enter a specific domain name.
- Check the Allow Automatic PAC Provisioning for this Profile checkbox to have the system automatically provide the PAC for this profile.
- OR: To set a PAC authority, choose a PAC Authority from the drop-down list to use. Click the Select More button to import or delete a new PAC authority:
- Click Public to view public PAC files, or click Private to see a list of private files only.
- Click Import to import a new PAC file. Browse to the new file and click Open to import.
- Highlight a PAC file and click Delete to delete that file.
- Click OK.
